What this solves
Vegas has always been the easiest major US destination for LGBTQ+ weddings — chapels here have decades of practice marrying every combination of people, and most officiants will perform ceremonies for any couple regardless of gender, orientation, or presentation. The problem isn't finding an inclusive chapel; it's sorting the chapels that are genuinely welcoming from the ones that merely tolerate the business, and picking the officiant style that fits what you want the day to feel like.
NV marriage license: $77, valid 1 year, no waiting period, no blood test. Both partners appear at the Clark County Clerk. After Obergefell v. Hodges (2015) and the Respect for Marriage Act (2022), same-sex marriages performed in Nevada are recognized in all 50 states.

How to read the result
- Officiant style is the personality of the ceremony. Elvis is performative and fun. Judge is brief and legal. Minister is traditional. Drag is celebratory. Personal is whatever you write.
- Ceremony style drives venue and duration. Drive-thru is a 5-min experience. Traditional with aisle walk is the most "wedding-like." Outdoor depends on weather.
- Budget is total ceremony cost, before license and tips. The $77 license is separate.
- Photography is where the upcharge hides. Basic 30+ digital is fine for social media; Pro is worth it for printed albums.
- Inclusive chapels listed below are real 2026 operators known to be welcoming to all couples. Most LV chapels are inclusive by default — the list focuses on chapels with a track record.
Limitations
- This tool does not certify individual officiants. Chapels rotate staff. If working with a specific officiant matters, request them by name at booking — and confirm in writing.
- Drag officiants are bookable at a smaller subset of chapels (most commonly Frankie's Tiki Room, The Velvet Hour, and a few standalone drag-ceremony operators). Not every chapel offers this style.
- For trans couples: Nevada allows amendment of marriage license gender markers post-ceremony. Most chapels handle name + gender changes in the paperwork without issue. Confirm at the Clerk's office.
- International couples should verify home-country recognition. Most Western countries recognize US same-sex marriages; some require an apostille ($50 + processing, 2–8 weeks).
- This tool does not include reception venues, dinner, or post-ceremony party planning. Add separately.
FAQ
Are all Las Vegas chapels LGBTQ+ friendly?
Most are, as a matter of long-standing practice. Vegas chapels have been marrying same-sex couples since well before Obergefell — it's the same business model regardless of couple composition. A small minority of older Strip chapels are affiliated with specific religious denominations and may decline; the chapels listed below are confirmed inclusive in 2026.
Which chapels are explicitly LGBTQ+ inclusive?
All-American Weddings and Always & Forever Weddings market directly to LGBTQ+ couples and have for years. Little White Chapel offers Elvis-officiated ceremonies for all couples. A Special Memory Wedding Chapel and Vegas Weddings (The Little Vegas Chapel) include LGBTQ+ packages. Graceland Wedding Chapel is inclusive on request.
Can I have a drag officiant?
Yes — at specific operators. Frankie's Tiki Room and The Velvet Hour both offer drag ceremony packages. A few chapels partner with rotating drag officiants. Most Strip chapels do not have drag officiants on staff but can refer you to independent operators ($300–$600 fee).
Will my home state recognize a Nevada same-sex marriage?
Yes. After Obergefell v. Hodges (2015) and the Respect for Marriage Act (2022), all US states must recognize same-sex marriages legally performed in any other state. Some countries require apostille processing for home-country registration — verify with your local consulate.
